Typical Chinese restaurant. Large egg rolls, dim sum menu. Ordered spicy Thai pork curry - quite hot and spicey - delicious.
Large restaurant with lots of space. I ordered the Sizzling chicken, which was sizzling as promised when it was delivered. Many menu options for multiple people, as well as menus for single diners that include soups, salads or desserts. Easy to order in but lots to experience.
Good selection of food. Service quite reasonable. Had quite a few meals here and portions are more than enough.
Our very first visit to Gran China.....from the initial extremely friendly welcome, to delicious hot food from an extensive menu, we were very impressed. Thank you to Yuhu and all of her colleagues we had a lovely evening. Highly recommended......we chose the evening Menu at 12,50 euros each.....food was hot, freshly cooked, presented beautifully and tasted delicious.
We went here for a takeaway. Being pescatarian we found it very difficult to find any suitable dishes to buy here. Eventually we decided to have vegetable fried rice (not on the menu) and vegetable spring rolls. The food was obviously fresh cooked as it took around 20 minutes to be ready. The rice was good and came with a separate sweet and sour sauce. The spring rolls surprising. I ordered four as I expected them to be the usual small size I’ve always had. Instead each was about the size of four rolls together. Nice, but way too much food. We also got complimentary prawn crackers which we ate next day. The restaurant itself was about a third full at the time. Quite a formal room with high backed chairs and quite bright lighting. It’s on the ground floor in Consum Square with plenty of free parking and is fully accessible. Cost of the food was very reasonable at just over 14€.
Had a takeaway from here as we arrived late and this was the only place open. Food was quick to be delivered (about 30 minutes). We had chicken balls, S&S sauce, egg fried rice and chips. The chicken balls were smaller but was full of chick. The rice had chicken in it and loads of veg and the sauce wasn’t too thick. I’d definitely go back.
By far the best Chinese meal I've ever had. Fantastic service, lovely staff and seating outside is brilliant with a great view especially when the sun is setting.
Cheap and cheerful Chinese. There are a number of Chinese restaurants on La Marina urb to choose from and we visit them all. We like this one for a cheap lunch or dinner. Always polite and friendly service. We like the set menu options for a bargain family dinner!
